Bangkok Thailand

The capital of Thailand, Bangkok is the spiritual, cultural, political, commercial, educational and diplomatic center of the country. It is by far the largest Thai city and is home to more than one-tenth of the population. Major tourist attractions include glittering Buddhist temples, palaces, timeless canal and river scenes, classical dance extravaganzas, and numerous shopping centers. The high relative humidity and warm temperature favor the growth of tropical plants including exotic orchids, bougainvillea and frangipani which lend a softness and beauty throughout the city. Thai cuisine is justifiably famous, varied, and affordable. With its saffron-robed monks, garish neon signs, graceful architecture, spicy dishes, colorful markets, traffic jams, and tropical climate, Bangkok is one of the most cosmopolitan and fascinating cities in Asia.
