I just got back from Punta Cana & La Romana area’s the 11th of June and it is a beautiful destination. The resort area’s are very clean and the worker’s are great. Some of the roads to the resort area’s are bumpy but it seems they are doing alot more construction in certain area’s adding new resorts. Punta Cana is more for the people that like to party or hang-out with others. The La Romana area would be great for wedding’s, honeymoons or just for couples to relax. The beaches are the best in La Romana but are not bad at all in Punta Cana.
