My fiancee and I are having a very small and very informal wedding. I have visions of either gardens and beautiful tall oak trees or inside an old historic home/plantation house. I’m shying away from wedding planners as this will be extremely informal and after the ceremony, we plan to go to the beach for our “reception”. I’m visiting Charleston this weekend, any suggestions on where to look? I hear Charleston is beautiful and I’m a huge history buff. Can’t wait to visit. Thanks for any help you can offer!

In a recent visit to charleston I discovered two small but hidden jewels. First, was a lovely condo with a real at home feeling on Beuafain just steps
from everything, managed by Historic Inns and B&B’s of CHARLESTON. Second,
was the wonderful food at Jestine’s at Wentworth & Market. Nothing fancy,
but extraordinary southern food that delighted the heart of a Yankee!

There are no RV parks on the beach anywhere is Charleston. What you want to see is Patriots Point in Mt. Pleasant. There are inexpensive lodgings close to Patriots Point. Your Husband will love it and so will you.
