Hi!My husband & I are coming to Carmel/Monterey & would like to know about the 17-mile scenic drive. Worth it? Is there a better one to take?

Very, small quaint town that is often overrun by tourists but for good reason. It’s charming! It has a quintessential CA beach, 17- mile drive, an historic CA mission and lots of shops and restaurants. And you just might run into your old friend Clint Eastwood. For a quieter and equally beautiful afternoon, consider driving inland to Carmel Valley. It’s an entirely different ambiance, much slower, less glitzy, and less fog.
