A few of my very favorite things to do in Arizona (mostly around Tucson)…
    - The Desert Museum in Tucson. I can’t say enough about this place…it is the BEST. Try to visit in spring or fall since it is almost totally outside. I’ve been there in July, and it is HOT. If you have to go in the summer, go first thing in the morning and bring PLENTY of water. You’ll see native AZ animals and plants - including amazing cacti and wildflowers, and animals like praire dogs and javalinas. The place is gorgeous - give yourself PLENTY of time.
    - Old Tucson Studios - Hokey, but so much fun. They filmed hundreds of old westerns here and now it’s sort of a theme park. Great for kids, there are some rides and shows, including a “Three Amigos” show that my daughter enjoyed greatly.
    - Rooster Cogburns Ostrich Farm - If I didn’t see it, I wouldn’t have believed it. Located right off Interstate 10 near Tuscon (around Picacho Peak), this is a MUST SEE. I stop there evey time we’re driving between Phoenix and Tucson - whether we have kids with us or not. For $2 you buy a big cup of ostrich food and then you get to feed them. Seriously, this is quite an amazing thing. WELL worth the $2. Kids will adore it! (Young at heart grownups too)
    - The resorts of Tucson. Stop by the major resorts for a drink at their bars and to admire the grounds. The hotels are amazing looking! My favorites - Westward Look, Hilton El Conquistador, Lowes Ventana Canyon, and the Westin La Paloma.
