I’ve been the city twice. Every time I can have lot of fun there. I bet you’ve never seen such a city with so many tourist in it. People there are also very nice. I like Netherlands.

Don’d miss the Rijksmuseum with its collection of works by the great Dutch & Flemish Masters. We happened upon a wonderful impressionist art gallery at Nieuwe Spiegelstratt 60. The Amsterdam flower market was beautiful & successful shopping was had by all in the shops across from the market.

If you don’t leave Amsterdam with some unforgettable memories, then I would be shocked. This city has something for everyone. Take a brewery tour (Heineken) that provides copious beers on the house at the end. Gaze at the endless supply of van Gogh’s work at the museum bearing his name. Relax in a cafe. Even if you are doing a whirlwind tour of Europe, I’d recommend staying two days.

Rent bicycles in Amsterdam only if you are an experienced urban rider, I’d say! Also, rain, fog, and temperature changes are always a possiblilty with rain fogging up the glass boat sightseeing rides!!! They carry squeegies on board. :(
